Summary
I have about 9 years experience teaching secondary math (Emath, Amath, and even IP math) and about 4 years experience teaching JC math (H1 & H2 math). My greatest strength in teaching is my patience, responsibility and approachability. Eg. Most of my students are not intimidated to ask me qns and most of them will see improvements. Also, I'm systematic in my teaching, which means, I will make sure my students really understand before moving on. Because I believe understanding is key to learning.

Ms Chan is very clear in her explanation and helps me to better understand the topics. As our school teachers are unable to mark our work all the time, Ms Chan helps me to check whether my presentation and workings are correct, which I believe are very important. The notes that Ms Chan provides are also very helpful and I like to read them before examinations to help me consolidate.

Ms Chan exudes her vibrant personality and positive energy through the screen every lesson. She always carries a smile to class and encourages us to be enthusiastic in our learning. Through her teaching, i have a greater passion for A math and strived to study hard for my O levels. When she started tutoring me, I was in secondary 3. The first exam, I got an f9. But slowly under her guidance, i was able to slowly learn additional mathematics. It was very tough but she was there to give feedback and provide assistance. She was able to provide assistance even after lesson through WhatsApp. She was able to solve the problems that I had and was clear and concise with her workings. Ms Chan is a very joyous teacher who is very enthusiastic and always encourages her students. Under a guidance, I was able to gain confidence in additional mathematics until I managed to obtain an A1 for my secondary 4 prelims.

ms chan is very patient and understanding, she never fails to acknowledge my success from the smallest to the largest. this always made me feel like my hardwork has been acknowledged and encourages me to work even harder. she always does her best to ensure that i have the necessary materials and knowledge for my test. her guidance played a huge part in my journey from a f9 math student. she has built my confidence and skills in the subject. i will forever be thankful to all that ms chan has done for me.

She is very nice overall and very patient. At the same time she is understanding. She provides a lot of notes which is what I need as my school doesn't provide as much, esp when it comes to additional math, so it's quite helpful. She makes additional math look easy to do though HAHA I wanna be like her and have the ability to do add math quickly and easily

I had my first lesson with Ms Chan in secondary 3 just after the circuit breaker and she’s the best tutor in my life! Ms Chan is a very patient teacher and continuously explains to me the same topic over and over again until I understand. As a weaker student in math, I feel that her patience and effort in trying to make math lessons enjoyable really helped me to learn better, faster and allowed me to develop an interest in math.
Also , Ms Chan relates to us really well and thus when in doubt, I am always comfortable to ask her any questions whether simple or difficult any time, 24/7, even in the middle of the night. I highly recommend Ms Chan as a tutor of your choice as she is very kind and never discriminates or judge any student so this is one point her students will never need to worry about. I really enjoyed and improved with her lessons over the past 2 years :D Thank You Ms Chan!!

Through her tuition sessions, both my emath and amath have improved drastically from barely passing/failing in sec 3 to topping my class in sec 4 despite the short time that I have been with her! :OOO (still cant believe it) Ms Chan's patience and commitment to go through all the tough extra questions with me during tuition and even helping me outside tuition time is truly very amazing!! I have never understood why people like math until I saw all those countless ticks on my exam papers. Her lessons have allowed me to understand math better and let me actually enjoy math till the point that people think im crazy! Thank you Ms Chan!! I highly recommend her lessons to anyone who needs a drastic improvement in their math grade ;)

I have maintain my results to get A1 for A math for these 2 years and her classes are quicker than my school teacher, this causes me to be more confident to handle the assessments given out by my school teacher as i already learned the topic beforehand, Ms Chan is also patient and attentive to our enquiries which helps us to learn from our mistake

I think, overall, it was a very fulfilling experience being a student of ms Chan’s. She is extremely patient and encouraging which pushes me to strive to want to do better. Her teaching style was adaptive and effective for me as I learn to grasp the different mathematical concepts. Personally, she is an optimistic and caring teacher who helps her students in any means possible :)

Ms Chan’s patience and reassurance towards teaching her students made learning more enriching. Math used to be my least confident subject in lower secondary because i had always scored C5 or below. However, after being under Ms Chan’s guidance, E-math became my strongest subject with almost every examination scoring A2 and above. In just a span of 2 years from the start of secondary 3 till secondary 4, Ms Chan fully changed my perspective on math and have made me learn how to enjoy doing math.
As silly as it sounds, doing e-math practice papers became my coping mechanism during stressful periods thus this just further proves how well Ms chan has taught her student.

Ms Chan is a very nice and friendly teacher! She was patient to explain to me the same questions over and over again and tried to do so with different approaches and phrasing until I understood the question. After class, she would give me practices on similar question after the class to confirm my understanding so that I would be able to do any related questions that come out in the exam.
Ms Chan is a patient and caring teacher. She devotes her time to explain questions and concepts clearly.
She will always make sure her students understand concepts by asking them questions and giving mini quizzes. It is an effective way for her to keep track of her students’ progress. This also allows her to help students who may be too shy to ask questions.
Ms Chan motivates and encourages her students. She always marks her students work and gives appropriate and constructive feedback to help them improve.
Overall Ms Chan is a positive and passionate teacher who puts her heart into teaching students

I would like to thank Ms Hui Ting for being an extremely patient teacher. Not only that, Ms Hui Ting is also a kind and caring teacher. She ensures that I can understand each question before moving on and she provides all the help I needed.
Ms Hui Ting also encourages me to do better for my next examination and I really enjoy her lessons as she makes it really enjoyable and fun. She also delivers information clearly. I really appreciate all the times when I wasn't clear about the question and she would explain it to me patiently.
Because of her guidance, I see my math improved. Ms Hui Ting also provides additional help to me when necessary. Thank you for everything you have done for us.

Ms Hui Ting is very patient with her students. My parents trusted her in helping me with my studies. She is very understanding and supportive in many ways.
Knowing that we have a lot of stress and pressure on us for the upcoming O levels, she never fails to calm me down and motivates me. During lesson she will have a piece of paper and jot down every concept of the topics that I asked her which I find it useful and beneficial for my studies. When I do my revision, I can refer to the summary page and study the topics and concepts that I am not sure of.
When it comes to lesson time, she makes the lesson enjoyable and useful for me. I liked how she has adapted to me and approached me with a different teaching style. Every student has different learning style and Ms Hui Ting is someone who can adapt well to specific student’s learning style. Thank you, Teacher, for being so kind and fun!
