The total for part aii) should be 6³ x 8³ instead of 6³ x 7³ since there are 8 possible choices from A to H and not 7.
Likewise, for i), it would be 8C1 x 7C1 x 6C1 for the letters instead of 7C1 x 6C1 x 5C1
