Too high a current (too many batteries) can cause the bulb to blow.
Wire not connected properly to 6th battery means the circuit is open, so it's a possible explanation why the bulb isn't lit.
Potential energy of the battery is independent of whether the circuit is working or not.
Hope it clarifies.

So every battery has potential energy?
Hi, if the battery has no potential energy, current can still pass through it. So it doesn't matter. Hope it clarifies.
Ohhh. Thank you
