For 12 papayas and 12 apples, the price different = 15-8 =$7
For total papayas and april Alfred bought, the price different =$63
Therefore total papaya or apple Alfred bought = 63÷7 = 9 sets of 12.
a) Total papayas = 9×12 =108
Total fruit = 2×108 = 216 altogether.
b) Papaya = 108×5÷4 = $135
Apple = 108×2÷3 =72
Total= 135+72 =207 altogether.
