Fraction between 4/10 and 5/10 but denominator less than 12.
For more than 4/10, the fraction should have smaller denominator. So is 4/9
For less than 5/10. The denominator should be bigger, so 5/11.
Think this is working. Else pupil can finish their exam paper during PSLE.

12 also can, since stated not more than 12. So 5/12 is acceptable also

Thanks for the compliments! Your working is really cool too and simple. Just reducing or increasing denominator then checking by conversion to decimal works perfectly fine and is very quick!
