BOTH the modulus Tan x and the 1 + cos x graphs will cut the x-axis at (2, 0). However, the Tan x one is very very steep whereas the cos x turning point is very smooth.

You must know that the graph of y = 1 + cos x starts out at 2, drops to 1 at 90 deg, drops to 0 at 180 deg, goes up to 1 at 270 deg and returns to 2 at 360 deg.

I mean how to see there are how many solutions?

The number of solutions is determined by the number of intersections of the two graphs.

Each x-coordinate of the points of intersection represents the x-solutions to the equation concerned.

In this case we know for sure that the graphs meet at 180 degrees, so 180 degrees must be the solution of the given equation (you can sub into the equation manually and check that this is indeed the case). The other two solutions do not have exact values or at least cannot be determined by looking.
