Area of the rectangle = 10 cm X 8 cm
= 80 cm ^ 2
Base of the triangle = 8 cm
Height of the the triangle = 3 cm
Area of the triangle = 1/2 X 8 cm X 3 cm
= 12 cm ^ 2
Total area = 80 cm ^2 + 12 cm ^ 2
= 92 cm^2
