Area of a parallelogram is base x height.
In this diagram you can see it as PQ x ST
or SU x QR.

Don’t have to use Pythagoras theorem:)

SU x QR is 112cm^2 which is area of the parallelogram.

Take QR divide by 8, you will get the answer:)
