Part d is 75 degrees Fahrenheit, if you use the graph. Because in the Celsius axis you have 10 small squares separating 0 degrees Celsius from 40 degrees Celsius, each small square (called each division) is 4 degrees. 22 degrees Celsius is in the middle of one of the squares. This corresponds to 75 degrees Fahrenheit if you have drawn the working lines.

For part e, the equation looks like y = mx + c. If you have compared correctly, the gradient m is the letter p and the intercept c is the letter q here.

q is the Celsius intercept of the graph, which is a temperature of -20.

So, q is -20.

p represents the gradient of the graph in this case.

Using (0, -20) and (100, 36) here,

p = [36 - (-20)] divided by (100 - 0)
p = 0.56
