the solution that was presented to me is
p1/t1 = p2/t2 --> 600/303 = p2/603
p2 = 1200 kPa

however, I do not understand how p2 is calculated. please help me, I have a test in 2 days, thank you!

P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2, you just need to fill in the relevant data in. It's the ideal gas equation, but usually they presented as pv=pv for constant temp, or p/t =p/t for constant vol, and v/t =v/t for constant pressure)
