I used to struggle with number patterns. But I realised if you start by calculating the difference between each term, there is a high chance you might find a pattern.
For this example, the numerator and denominator follows a different pattern. If you combine them it would be:
nth term = n / (2n - 1)
then check back to see if it fits!
