Break down the RHS into simpler terms similar to the LHS. The whole main reason is to find simlarities between the LHS and RHS to solve it.

If you have learnt that...
Negative exponents are a fancy way of writing reciprocals:

x^-n = 1/x^n

Knowing the above expression, express the fraction into a negative exponent. Hence, you will get (0.01)^-1.

Then, express 0.01 in terms of 10. You know that 10 to the power of -2 (10^-2) gives you 0.01.

Hence, you get (10^-2)^-1.

Hence, C=2.
