I understand but how is that chain rule?
It is the same if you are familiar with how you differentiate an equation using chain rule.
E.g.
y = (2x ² +3) ²
dy/dx = 2 (2x ² +3) x 4
You differentiate the “outside” bracket power leaving the inside as is, then multiply by the differentiation of the “inside” bracket values.
E.g.
y = (2x ² +3) ²
dy/dx = 2 (2x ² +3) x 4
