I used this formula a^2 - b^2 = (a-b) (a+b) but can someone help me identify what is a and b in this question

Using special algebraic identities, a^2 - b^2 = (a+b)(a-b)
a^2 - b^2
= (x+2)^2 - (x-3)^2
In this case, a = (x+2) and b = (x-3).
Hence,
(x+2)^2 - (x-3)^2
= [(x+2) + (x-3)] * [(x+2) - (x-3)]
= (2x-1)(5)
a^2 - b^2
= (x+2)^2 - (x-3)^2
In this case, a = (x+2) and b = (x-3).
Hence,
(x+2)^2 - (x-3)^2
= [(x+2) + (x-3)] * [(x+2) - (x-3)]
= (2x-1)(5)
