Let the other factor be x**2+px+q.
Multiply it with given eq and compare terms.
You will get p=4 and q=5.
(X**2+2x-3) (X**2+4x+5) =0
Second term is always > 0 . Check it's minimum at x= -2.

So it is going to have only 2 roots of the first term.
