How do you answer and explain in question 11?

Given : 4/x + 3/(x + 1) = 2
If x = -1, then x + 1 = 0.
This means that 3/(x + 1) = 3/0, which is undefined since division by 0 is undefined. So the left hand side of the equation is undefined and cannot equal 2 on the right hand side.
So, x = -1 is not admissible.
