I am a current MOE Primary School teacher specialising in teaching upper primary level English Language with 15 years experience. I have experience working with upper primary students preparing them for PSLE. I will strategise with the student on tactics we can use for the various segments of the English exam to maximise their scores after a thorough analysis of their strengths and areas for improvement. I have been an oral and listening comprehension invigilator at PSLE and have been a market for Paper 1 and 2. I have a track record to achieve value-added results for English Language for high-achieving and low-progress students alike. I am structured in my approach and I will tailor my lessons to fit the individual student’s needs. I am able to build good rapport with the students and motivate them to fulfil their potential by internalising the strategies and tactics imparted to them. In 2019, I tutored 8 P6 students and they achieved 6As and 2Bs for PSLE. They maintained or improved by a grade from their Prelims. I am passionate about teaching the English Language as it impacts the student’s ability to communicate with the world which is the bedrock to their success.
