Having gone through the Integrated Programme in Hwa Chong Institutuon after graduating from Nan Hua Primary from their TAG (talent and GEP) classes, I’ve been getting good grades throughout my secondary school years and went on to graduate from Hwa Chong Institution (JC) with straight As for A levels.

I understand the importance and the pivotal role a tutor/teacher can play as I owe much of my success to my primary school tutor who taught me a lot not just academically but really on building my character and of course my teachers in school and my parents. As such, my style of tutoring will not be solely to teach and study for tests/exams but of course will be aimed to serve my student to build him/her up into an all rounded individual, focusing also on holistic development. Through casual conversations and literally be friending my student I believe that building positive relationships can impact the most closed up individual in miraculous ways.

I may not have prior formal tutoring experience but I often teach my younger brother who is in sec 1 this year and who has cerebral palsy, albeit a mild case. I believe I am generally good with people and can connect with a multitude of different characters and am generally quite likeable.
