I have been giving tuitions in Additional Mathematics (AM) and Elementary Mathematics (EM) to secondary school students and Mathematics to JC students since I was an undergraduate.

I read Mathematics and English at NUS and graduated with a major in Mathematics (Bachelor of Science with Honours). Subsequently, I went to NIE to study for the Post Graduate Diploma Education (PGDE for Sec in Mathematics and English) and upon graduation, I went to teach Mathematics and Further Mathematics at the then Hwa Chong Junior College (HCJC). I also did a part-time Masters in Science (Statistics) and completed the post graduate course.

Started as a Mathematics teacher in Hwa Chong, I went on to lead the department as Principal Consultant (equivalent to Head of Department or HOD).

All in all, I am familiar in the teaching of H2 Mathematics at college level and was also involved in the revised syllabuses of the secondary school and junior college levels Mathematics. I left the education sector to do full time tuition due to its more flexible hours and also to spend more time in the mornings to be involved in volunteer services to community.

I am committed in my teaching. I cater to customised needs of every student, in terms of teaching and materials. I teach with mind, heart and gut, and will do marking for assigned work and also willing to look through and give comments/marking of student's school work.
