Hi!
If the area of the square board is 900, you may simply square-root 900 to get the length of the board.
Root(900) should give you 30.
Then perimeter is simply 4 sides × 30 = 120 cm.
The volume of the cube is:
Length × Length × Length = 30 × 30 × 30
= 27,000 cm^3
