Hi Bi Jun,
(i) since A&B are identical 3x5 matrices, you just need to do the normal subtraction as shown in the first row. You may proceed to do so for the next 2 rows.
(ii) The matrix in (i) shows the number of books sold between 1 December & 1 January.
