For i, answer would be sets A and C. Since the mean of the 2 numbers in these sets are also 5, they would not affect the new mean.
For ii, answer would be C. That’s because the numbers deviate less from the mean of 5, so the standard deviation would not be significantly affected, as compared to if the numbers in set C were added.
