Hi, my input for (a) as follow:
Let 2n-1 be the first odd number, where n is a positive integer (as the 3 numbers add up to at least 48).
(2n-1)+(2n+1)+(2n+3) <= 48
6n+3 <=48, 6n <=45, n<= 7.5,
When n=8 (min.positive integer), the 3 numbers are 15,17 & 19.
