Total square = 1+2+3+4.....+96+97+98+99+100
From here we pair each ..
1+100 =101
2+99 =101
3 +98 =101
4 +97 =101
....
...
...
50+51 = 101

Total have 50 pair of 101
Therefore,total = 50×101 = 5050.
You can use formula for this addition...
n × (n+1) ÷ 2
when n=100
Therefore, 100 ×101÷2 =5050.
