Hi! U have to first understand that
tan x= (sin x)/(cos x), we apply that concept here to find the value of the expression.

Hi!I forgot to show u why tan(x)=sin(x)/cos(x), we know that we can express adjacent as A,opposite as O and hypotenuse as H, tan(x)=O/A, u should have learnt this in Sec 2. So sin(x)/cos(x)=(O/H)/(A/H), we can multiply both numerator and denominator by H, so
sin(x)/cos(x)=O/A=tan(x).
