49 - 7 = 42
He has 42 boxes of staplers left.
After putting the removed boxes of staplers equally into the remaining 42 boxes of staplers, each box has 12 more staplers.
Amount of staplers belonging to the 7 boxes = 12 x 42 = 504
1 box = 504/7 = 72
49 boxes = 3528
He has 3528 staplers at first
