Thanks for the help..But I'm still really confused about the question..
r ^2 / r^2 - 1 = r ^2 / (r -1) (r + 1)
Hence shouldn't it be
A / (r-1) + B / (r +1 ) instead?? However the question stated A + B / (r -1) + C / (r + 1) so how did the " A " come about?? In this case, do we have to do long division before solving the equation?
