Total mass of 2 ducks & 6 chickens = 3.1(8) = 24.8kg
Total mass of 6 chickens = 6(2.4) = 14.4kg
Mass of 2 ducks = Total mass - mass of 6 chickens = 24.8kg - 14.4kg = 10.4kg
200g = 0.2kg
mass of the lighter duck = (10.4kg-0.2kg)÷2=5.1kg
mass of the heavier duck = 5.1kg+0.2kg
