41a) Yes.Iron is a magnetic material and thus it will be attracted to the rod magnet, preventing the door from closing.

41b) When the door is fully opened, the iron strip will be attracted to the rod magnet. As magnetic materials are good conductor of electricity ,the circuit will then be closed. This allows the electric current to flow through which will then light up the wall light.

For the drawing, I think I will put the 6 batteries together in series, I will then connect them to the 3 iron strips of different length in parallel to each other. The light bulbs will be placed after each iron strip respectively.
