thanks for answering! but can you explain why square root 3 becomes 3K^2 ?


since square root 3 = 3^ 1/2 ?

Pardon me that I got the 2 ratios mixed up.

Since (root 3)^2 = root 3 x root 3 = 3, so
(k x root 3)^2 = 3k^2
