Hi, it's a pretty long solution. Because of the word "hence" in the question, once you've gotten the partial fractions, you will need to make use of the answer to help you find gradient of curve.
In order to find the grad, we differentiate the equation. So here we differentiate each individual partial fraction. After we get the results, simply sub x=1 into the differentials and we should get a value of 2 as the answer.
