Hope this helps, this questions is tricky but it always helps to find a common ratio between 2 different scenario:

In this case, 2:1 becomes 12:6, and the 6 represents the green beads that are completely used in the 4:6 ratio. 12 - 4 = 8 units, which are the remainder 120 purple beads. You can work your way up from there.
