Let the integer be x.
If I add 5 to the right of x what happens? The new value is 10x+5 because I shifted the integer to the left (ie. Multiplied by 10) then added 5.
Now use simple algebra to find the difference and solve for x.
(Hint: 10x+5-x = 50,000?)
