Find the total distance from A to B first:
total distance = 64 (Mabel’s speed) x 3 (time Mabel travelled when Paula reaches point B) + 53 = 245km
Then you can find Paula’s speed:
Paula’s speed = 245 divided by 3.5 (time taken for Paula to travel) = 70km/h
