a) 3/10 = 21litres (read from graph) Capacity of tank = 10/10 = 70 litres
b) Gradient = rate
gradient (first half): 15/30 = 0.5litres/sec
Amount of petrol needed to completely fill up the tank: 70litres - 46lites = 24litres
faster rate = first half of graph (steeper slope = faster rate)
at 0.5litres/sec, you would need 24/0.5 = 48secs more to completely fill up the tank.
