(a) use the formula y=mx + c where m is gradient and c is y intercept. to find gradient, its “rise over run” meaning difference in y coordinates over difference in x coordinates

(b) use of formula which is derived from pythagoras’ theorem where segment AB is the hypothenus

(c) line parallel to y axis and passes (12,0) is x=12. since it intersects with line AB produced, substitute x=12 into ur equation from (a)
