no problem. because she lost 3/5 of her red beads, meaning she has 2/5 of her red beads left. in the question, it states that after she lost 3/5 of her read beads and bought 12 more green beads, the ratio of green to red beads is 3/4 (which also means 3u : 4u). 4u being the red beads. does this explanation help?
