Slight error in the simultaneous equation solving
① - ② :
A + 3C - (A - C) = -2 - 2
4C = -4
C = - 1
Then A = C + 2
= -1 + 2
= 1
A + 3C - (A - C) = -2 - 2
4C = -4
C = - 1
Then A = C + 2
= -1 + 2
= 1
Final expression :
ln(x + 1) - 1/(x + 1) - ln(x - 1) - 1/(x - 1)
= ln((x+1)/(x - 1)) - (x + 1 + x - 1)/(x + 1)(x-1))
= ln[(x+1)/(x-1)] - 2x/(x² - 1) + constant
ln(x + 1) - 1/(x + 1) - ln(x - 1) - 1/(x - 1)
= ln((x+1)/(x - 1)) - (x + 1 + x - 1)/(x + 1)(x-1))
= ln[(x+1)/(x-1)] - 2x/(x² - 1) + constant
