1 whole here has 6 parts. So, I draw 4 wholes and 1/6. The question separates 2 wholes and asks for what’s left. What’s left is 2 wholes and 1/6, which is 13/6 as an improper fraction. The answer is thus 13.

Is it right if I Think to find same amount as the first fraction thus:-
4 1/6 = 2 ?/6
Change into improper fraction
25/6 = 12+? / 6
25/6 = 12 +(13)/6
25/6=25/6
Can I use my method Since my answer also be 13

that’s correct too. I personally won’t do that because say we have a larger fraction like 9 17/30=2+?/30. Your method would require working with large numbers unnecessarily. :)
Ok understand thank you
