the x5 term in the numerator looks a bit unusual. usually the question set have smaller difference between the degree of the numerator and the degree of the denominator. am assuming that the question have been copied out correctly.

because of the larger difference between the degree of the numerator and the degree of the denominator, the long division is quite a challenge here.

nevertheless, the answer seems reasonable and a check with some random values of x shows that the answer is likely to be correct.

small typo error …
in the first line of part (ii), where the original expression is splitted to the quotient + fraction,
… the 13x^2+4x-18 in the numerator
…. should be -13x^2+4x-18.

final answer still remain the same.
