As equal number of boys and girls left,
The difference remained the same
143-45=98
9-2=7
98 / 7 = 14
14 x 11 = 154

Can I ask, how do you identify whether the question is asking remaining left in the hall or leave the hall? Because your working is based on remaining left in the hall.
