Method A: keep calculating the distance for Mary and Kevin after every hour.
Method B: initially Mary has a head start of 160km, but Kevin is travelling faster by 100-80=20km/h. Thus Kevin will overtake Mary after 160÷20=8h. You can then calculate (b).
