Box + 17 screws = 2550g
Box + 5 screws = 1110g
17 - 5 = 12 screws = 2550g - 1110g = 1440g
(a) 1440g
1 screw = 1440g ÷ 12 = 120g
5 screws = 120g × 5 = 600g
(b) Box = 1110g - 600g = 510g
Box + 5 screws = 1110g
17 - 5 = 12 screws = 2550g - 1110g = 1440g
(a) 1440g
1 screw = 1440g ÷ 12 = 120g
5 screws = 120g × 5 = 600g
(b) Box = 1110g - 600g = 510g
