Set all the final units that each of them has to 2 units and draw a model with statements in the questions carefully.

In the beginning,
Ivan had 1 unit.
Jack had two units + 16.
Kumar had five units.
Leon had an unknown number(2 units- 25).
So we have
1u + 2u + 16 + 5 u + 2u - 25 = 431.
Then everyone will have 2u finally.
I did not set the no of units for Ivan as 2 units.
I draw in the extra one unit for illustration only.
I hope that it clarify your doubt.
