Hi ac lim, 9x9 square on top, theres a small portion not shaded. That small portion is ald factor into the 1/2x19x4? So wouldnt that be double calculation?
We minus the unshaded part from area of 3 square.
The 2 unshaded part= 2 triangle in red.
Area of ½×19×4 =38 cm² already minus off 9×9 top part.
2nd triangle below is just ½ × 9 × 9
