water droplets will be seen forming on the metal tray. When the water boils in the beaker, evaporation occurs at a high rate, causing the water to form water vapour rom the liquid to gaseous state. Upon contact with the cooler metal plate, condensation of the water vapour occurs, causing the water vapour to change from the gaseous to liquid state and thereby forming water droplets on it.
