But I guess the tree diagram can be very useful for visualization. So for instance, part i, to calculate the probability of first representative being a girl, you have to look at the first representative branch of girls which gives you a probability of 30/45 and then the second representative could be anyone so you have sum both possibilities. Hope it helps!
