Laws of Indices tells us that:
3^(x-3) = 3^x / 3^3.
Since we know that 3^x = 216,
3^(x-3) = 216 / 3^3 = 216 / 27 = 8.
3^(x-3) = 3^x / 3^3.
Since we know that 3^x = 216,
3^(x-3) = 216 / 3^3 = 216 / 27 = 8.
