0.8kg rice + 1kg of barley —> $1.76x2 =$3.52 — equation 1
From question,

0.8kg of rice + 2kg of barley —> $5.12 —equation 2

Equation 2- equation 1

1kg of barley —> $5.12-$3.52= $1.60— equation 3

Equation 1 - equation 3
0.8kg of rice —> $3.52-$1.60=$1.92

1kg of rice —> $1.92 x (1/0.8) =$2.40
