1. Fill 3l pail till full.
2. Pour 3l water to 5l pail.
3. Fill 3l pail till full again.
4. Pour to 5l pail till the brim.
5. You left 1l of water in 3l pail.
6. Pour away 5l pail water completely and pour 1l of water into 5l pail.
7. Fill 3l pail till brim, you have total of 4l of water in two pail now.
